Teen Book Boxes

Open to teens ages 12-18.

Join our latest service: Teen Book Box

Teen Book Box is a new, free monthly subscription service offered by the Ellsworth Public Library. Receive a book chosen just for you by library staff along with fun treats and goodies.

  • Register by completing a form at the library.
  • Pick up your box once you’ve received a call, text or email letting you know your box is ready.
  • Read your book and complete the review card. Enjoy and keep the enclosed snacks and other goodies.
  • Return your book, box and review sheet. Then, we’ll prepare a new box for you. Pick up, read and repeat.

T.A.B. (Teen Advisory Board)

Open to teens ages 12-18.

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a dedicated group of young people who come together to make new friends, provide leadership and advice on what young people want from their library, to celebrate or develop shared interests and leadership skills, to plan and implement ideas and to make a difference in their community. Students needing service hours can earn them as a part of TAB.

Reading Programs

Our teen summer and winter reading programs encourage teens to read or listen to books from our library.  Each program has a fun theme and winning fabulous prizes is part of all the fun! Watch for details of the Teen Summer and Winter Reading Programs on the website, at the library, in the schools, and in the local newspaper. Now you may also participate using our online platform Beanstack!
